Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

Isn't it crazy how many injured guys we've drafted or signed thinking we were getting the deal of the century? "This guy should have been a first round pick but he had a devastating knee injury!"

Peter Schrager goes crazy and gives us Travis Etienne to us at 19 in his mock draft today:
https://www.nfl.com/news/peter-schrager ... -alabama-r
First-round running backs might be a dying breed, but I love this addition to Scott Turner's offense. Etienne is electric between the tackles and in the open field as a ball carrier, but also adds value in the passing game. Washington still needs another playmaker or two on offense to be a threat in the NFC.
I think this was pick also widely mocked today by folks on the web!

I saw that too. I love all the speculation around the draft, but I hate it too.

Still need a playmaker or two? With Gibson, McLaurin, Samuel, McKissic, and Thomas?

That seems a bit of a reach. Especially with our NEED at linebacker and at tackle.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

I'd like to see another RB added to avoid overworking Gibson. Not sure that any of the other backs on the roster are what we need.

I like Barber and McK, but as a compliment to Gibson, not necessarily as a replacement in case of injury. It's a tough haul to carry 4 backs on an active roster too.

Barber did well at what he was asked to do last year, but I'm greedy - I'd like somebody on the roster who can contribute more than just a handful of short yardage carries. Maybe Lamar Miller is that guy?

I'd agree that running back at #19 would be a luxury, when left tackle or linebacker would both make a greater immediate impact - and offer really good options in this draft too.

Did we re-sign Lamar Miller this off season too?
