Alex Smith Retiring?

Post by BossHog »

Apparently it's going around that Alex Smith is retiring. His wife posted something on Instagram.

Stay tuned.

If so, i hate how this turned out even more. Nothing but the utmost respect for Alex Smith. True warrior spirit.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.

Same. I feel bad that he ever ended up here in Washington. Just a terrible situation to walk into, and he deserved better.

He certainly seemed to earn better. Not sure how a guy could give more to a franchise than he did.

Still got squashed.

Not a great look for us in my opinion, but obviously Washington weren't alone in not feeling comfortable with the risks. He was a free agent for a while before he decided to retire. Not sure if that wait had anything to do with the decision, just saying it would seem he left it open for him to play again, but didn't catch on with anybody in a situation he liked.

Yeah I was surprised he didn't end up in Jax. Seems like an obvious fit.

His comeback last year was amazing. He has nothing else to prove. RIP (Retire In Peace), Alex
