I saw that but the reporter who mentioned it is obviously not a doctor so from where he got that we'll never know. Teams don't make that information public and doctors can't due to HIPPA laws.

Seems like they have to look at FAs, don't you think?
Id imagine Mason and SDH are starters... With Harvey-Clemons and Holcomb the back ups. Marquis Flowers, DeMarquis Gates, and BJ blunt are all listed as back ups.

We likely sign some depth after first round of cuts, unless someone better can be had at a deal. I dont think its panic button time yet tho

So it's official. Done for the season.

Let's hope the DL steps up. Lots of talent there.

In a related move:

Redskins signed LB Jon Bostic.

Reuben Foster was placed on IR in a corresponding move. Bostic started 14 games for the Steelers last year, so this isn't just a depth signing. He should push for significant snaps.

Did anybody else google Jon Bostic yesterday just to be disappointed that there was no relation? :D

I was reading about him this morning. Second round pick in 2013 who has already played on six teams kind of raised an eyebrow. It sounds like he's a decent player who has had some trouble staying healthy.

Jeff could never tan enough to look like Jon.

I'm guessing they're just looking for anyone who has actually played at this point and Bostic fits that description.

hah! I had the same exact thought but figured this was painfully obvious to all of us.

I saw that the 49ers lost Jimmie Ward to a broken collarbone in OTAs the other day. Not that I'm wishing anyone injuries, just reminded me that we're not actually cursed and guys do actually get serious injuries in these offseason camps.

If we could survive the off-season without losing four or five players like last year that would be nice.
