Falcons @ Redskins

Post by SkinsJock »

this would be a good time for the Redskins' passing game to help out the offense ...
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

I'm feeling good about this, I have even dug my 'RedSkin' GameDay jacket out of the closet and wearing it in public! I hope to see a solid, conservative offense and a Defense that just dominates, humilates and punishes the Atlanta Crows or whatever they're called. I want to see Ionitites (?) and Kerrigan alternating sacks, the D line dominating and swamping Ryan - I've had it in for Atlanta since they beat us on their way to the SuperBowl and here's a good chance to humiliate them on our own turf.
Hail Skins!

Amazing how the falcons ripped off all those huge, sustained plays without holding even once.

The refs have shown us all we need to see already. Falcons by a bunch. Since the giants have no chance, the word has come down from upstairs that the fecals need to be back in first place. That process starts here, today.

More OL injuries, "holding", and then Dropson makes an appearance. What next? Torn ACL for AD?

That's why they're going to lose this game. You don't punt from the 50 when you're not getting anything going offensively or defensively.

6/6 on third downs. Gaping holes against a front 7 that has been dominant. All the time in the world to throw. Gaping run lanes. Are the falcons this good, or is it the refs?

The Falcons are getting away with murder on holds but the Skins aren't doing anything to help themselves either.

The Falcons gave up 400 passing yards to Eli Manning but Alex Smith can't complete a screen pass.

the good news is that the Falcons are #31 in rushing the ball so we should be in good shape ... right?

Exactly. Thank you Arena-Boy and Dropson. What a joke. This is why I haven't spent money on this team in well over a decade. Such a shoddy product. There are other bad teams in the league, but at least those organizations are trying. This is (and has been) an organization that is less coherent than a monkey feces fight at the zoo. Shameful.

It is definitely not the refs and the Falcons are not that good ...

WAS has three reliable offensive players: Williams, Peterson, and Davis. Their combined age is 194 years, and one is out injured.

Love the announers as well. Whenever the 'Skins play a team that is decimated by injuries, the announcers focus on that and make excuses for the opponent all day. When the 'Skins have injuries, the announcers focus on the overwhelming dominance of the other team.

Alex Smith hit in the head, no call. Of course. Falcons player should've been penalized and ejected.

"Fabian Moreau was on his back" lol. As clean a defensive play as you'll see. Announcers rushing to validate the call, of course.

Illegal pick right in the middle of the field in clear view to spring Ridley? Of course not! TD falcons!

Ridley also should've been flagged for taunting at the end of the play. No call.
