The Vegas NHL team in it's first season.

Already has 3 wins. Gee that is exactly the same number as the Arlington Gloryholers since Super Bowl 30. 1 more and they surpass that feat. Hell the Eagles did that for the 2017-18 season and won a Super Bowl. I know I did a Vegas NHL team thread. But, that one was about them being formed. This one is also about the 2018 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs

Update. You know your since 96 season is pathetic when an NHL expansion team in it's expansion season has more playoff wins than the Gloryholers do. Vegas 4 playoff wins. Gloryholers since Super Bowl 30. Only 3 wins. LOL

1st round of the 2018 Stanley cup playoffs is done. The Vegas Knights are the Cinderella story that keeps on going.
Western Conference
Vegas will play San Jose in the 2nd Round. I'll take Vegas as long as they are alive.
Nashville plays Winnipeg Nashville is the better team
Eastern Conference
Washington plays Pittsburgh. Washington might be the better team. But, their history in playoffs. I'm taking the Penguins
Tampa Bay plays Boston. I'll take the Bruins.

Well I was wrong about the Bruins. But, the theme of this thread is the Vegas Knights. And they now have 11 post season wins. Which by the way is almost 4 times as many as Jerrah's Gloryholers have since 1996 season.
Bruins lost to Tampa Bay today. I freely admit to being wrong about that one.
Vegas beat San Jose. I'll happily take that.

Well I was wrong also about the Predators. But, Las Vegas is the theme of this thread. I'm on the Vegas band wagon until they done. If they were not an expansion team. My interest in NHL would have ceased when the Stars were done. But, seeing an expansion team in it's first season make the conference finals. Is keeping my interest.

Well the Knights now have won 12 post season games. That is 4 times more than the Gloryholers have won since 1996. Also the Knights are in the Stanley Cup Finals. Which means they won the Western Conference. Something that the Gloryholers ain't done since 1995.

I almost forgot. For you Capitols fans. The Caps did manage to win the Cup. 1st time in it's history. Congrats to the Caps. But, the Vegas Knights in it's first ever season. They did manage to win game 1. Then the Caps won 4 strait.
