Wr Doctson Richardson Crowder Hunt and Quick isnt an elite group but better then last year id say with addition- coupled with a more accurate qb should be a strength
OL was a strength.. And we even had walmart greeters out there! No way we have as many injuries there this year
DL could use some help but we had the 2nd best front 7 in the league so id hardly call them a hole excited to see Allen out there this year too
Kerrigan Smith and Brown are all probowl esque LBs.. Cant say weve had a much better squad LB core..um ever?
CB we will likey draft in the 2nd or 3rd.. Although, Having norman and Scandrick we are decent to ok depending on if any of the young bucks make improvement. Breeland wasnt waaay better then any of them- the drop off from Fuller to Scandrick will be shadowed by his experience i think. So can use help but not a big hole like rb
A good safety never hurts.. DJ was an improvement though
Basically what welch said ^^^
The most glaring problem is the terrible play against the run. We were DEAD LAST this season. That's a damning weakness in the NFC East.
That and obviously not having a decent running game. We needed up in 28th place last season. The combination is toxic.
Also the WR situation. There's no guarantee that these guys will gel with the new QB (hell, they didn't gel with KC either. Garcon and DJax were a better combo, no doubt).
QB: Too early to say. At the very least I expect a game manager.
TE: Iffy. Reed will be injured some time during the season. Vernon Davis is old as dirt.
OL: Injuries have been a plague for years now. Impossible to actually depend on the group.
DL: Good individual players, but somehow we ended up with a terrible year, statically, against the run. 32th place! What?!
CB: Somewhat solid. The group has a mean streak, but is let down by our terrible running defense.
LB: see above.
K: Solid.
Punter: Decent.
