Don't miss him at all. He was liked and could be a speech coach but outside of that, he one of the long list of NFL guys that are fast-tracked through upper positions not because of their success but because of who they know or the family they come from. Was TE coach

He has a good offensive scheme and probably is a good teacher of the game in the classroom. To me he has a lack of skill in-game and don't have the intangibles necessary to be a great coach. Think he would be better suited a qb coach. Thought he helped Kirk come along really well and improve.

With his youth, however I thought he would bring something new to the game. Redskins remained one of the least innovative predictable teams in the NFL and underachieved with the talent that they had.

players and coaches get too much credit and too much blame - success or failure in this game is rarely because of a great player or a great coach - the franchises that do well have a good mix from top to bottom of guys that 'work well together'

Sean's success will depend on having a good FO, a good group of coaches and a good group of players - he will get the credit or the blame but the fact remains it will depend on his putting a good 'team' of coaches and players together with the support of a good group of FO people

can't wait to have that here again ... miracles do happen
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

CONGRATULATIONS to Sean McVay - What a great season for a really good NFL coach

and how 'bout that 5-0 finish by the 49ers under another former Redskins OC

looks like we're going to go with the same FO with Dan Snyder leading the way for another season

I keep hoping this stupid way of managing an NFL franchise will stop

11 wins for a franchise that hadn't had a winning season since 2003. Up 7 wins on last year. Not a bad start

Yes I have to admit I was a naysayer about him but he did a great job this year with the Rams. I still think he is Kirk Cousins as a coach...detailed but not in-game orientated. Nonetheless he was one of the best coaches this year. I think what helped him succeed as well was the ability to hire legit coaches

LOS ANGELES -- Sean McVay, the youngest head coach in modern NFL history, was named Coach of the Year by the Pro Football Writers of America on Thursday, a testament to the Los Angeles Rams' stunning turnaround under his watch.

The Rams finished 11-5 in McVay's first season, winning their first division title since 2003 and becoming the first team in the Super Bowl era to go from last to first in scoring in consecutive years. McVay, who turns 32 next Wednesday, inherited a franchise coming off 10 consecutive losing seasons and led it to a plus-149 point differential.

He had a much better chance of success as a head-coach elsewhere than here.
Next season will be better for him and his team. Coach of the year in my book.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
