I used to love it when he'd say "They have 2 times out remaining." He'd also say "Rushing the passer is his forte" and pronounce it (correctly) as fort not for-tay.

He was the 2nd best game announcer I ever heard. Him and Merlin Olson were the best tandom on NBC back in the day. Only Madden and Summerall were better.
