Ricky Williams wants to return??

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Ricky wants back in. :?

Must be out of connections, or realized how much he misses those big checks :-({|= . Speaking of....even if he does come back, he'll probably be suspended for quite a while for his 3rd strike on failing the league drug test.
I have travelled the net and found the Redskins promise land. This is, by far, the best site out there for Redskins/NFL News, Notes, Opinions, and so much more.

NOt only that, but since he removed himself from the NFL drug program, if he comes back before a year after that time, it counts as a positive drug test, so it would be strike 4 as well.

I hope he gets back in the league soon. I wonder if he'll suffer from "Samson" syndrome, after having shorn his locks.

As for a penalty for his return...

all I can say is that if T.O. can whine himself out of playing with the Prunes, then Ricky can sure come back with minimal damage [to his wallet and PT].

And, apparently, there is....
Because he has failed three drug tests, Williams faces an automatic four-game suspension. Furthermore, the NFL's drug program stipulates that when a player in the program retires and returns within one calendar year it counts as another violation.

However, league rules allow for the possibility that the NFL Players Association and the league could negotiate a settlement to allow Williams to return sooner.

Williams will be back. He'll whine and cry his way to Oakland before the end of the season. He keeps raving about playing under Norv Turner and the new look Raiders O-line
