Redskins at the Chiefs on MNF football

Post by SkinsJock »

THIS is a big game against a very good opponent in front of a national TV audience - the reality is the Redskins can beat the Chiefs by simply playing good football - we do not need a special game from anyone we just need the defense and the offense to play to their capabilities

the Raiders were recently favored to be playing the Patriots in the AFC Championship game and look at what happened to that offense when our defense showed up to play ... WE CAN WIN THIS GAME

I've recently hear that the Chiefs are the best team in the NFL - soooo .. if we win, are we then the best team in the NFL?

A B S O L U T E L Y
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Kelley running HARD so far. He also got hit late OOB on the dropped screen pass right in front of the ref, no call.

This reminds me of the "Buddy Bag" playoff game against the fecals. This is the most aggressive 'Skins team that I have seen in quite awhile on both sides of the ball.

Not only was Reed down, but the defender led with the crown of the helmet. No flag.

That was a 3 point sack! KC couldn't score despite profiting from uncalled holding on Kelce's long gain and Smith's scramble.

So Kelce jumps up after a 12 yard catch and does a 15 second dance like he's just caught a TD in OT to win the Super Bowl, a flag is thrown, Kelce complains, and the flag is picked up? Only against the 'Skins would that happen.

Uncalled holding on the central 3 KC O linemen, Smith falls down, and a BS call is made downfield? Yeah, OK.

C'mon Pryor. Gotta catch that. D needs to stay stiff over these last 5 minutes. Can't give up a cheap score here.

hopefully Cousins will start putting the ball in places where our guys can catch them - Pryor's ball was too far in front and the third down pass to Reed was on the ground not in the air where our TE has a distinct advantage

And there's the cheap score to Kelce. Egregious holding right in the center of the line, no call.

Chefs aren't even trying and in FG range. Amazing what you can do when holding calls aren't made.

I would dearly love to see Smith turn the ball over on this first possession of the third quarter. D needs to start punchin' 'em in the mouth again.

BS call on the "horsecollar". Breeland's hands were on the jersey collar, not inside the pads.

Refs should just give the Chefs a TD, it would be quicker that way. What a series of enormous calls that are all absolute garbage.

the Chiefs in 1 play went from the 38 to the 9 - that is a huge mistake by Galette - a terrible play

Just once I would love to see the 'Skins get a TD on a drive with 40 + penalty yards and a do-over from inside the 1 yard line. So cheap.
