Two three-and-outs on offense. Only reason the Ravens didn't score on their first drive was a WR dropped the ball. Not off to a promising start.

The only consistant thing I saw in the game was the look of bewilderment in Grudens' eye. Same look he had last year.

he's consistent - this franchise will win 7 to 9 games each year with Jay as HC - not good & not bad, consistent

some here are happy with what he's doing
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

You don't think what we saw was a product of poor coaching? It is my opinion that we have the necessary talent on the field - we are weak in some key positions and strong in others - but the raw talent is there. I'd say we have at least as great a talent as the Ravens. It's the job of the coaches to take advantage of that talent, wouldn't you agree that that is what we lacked? I don't think we lost because of a poor thrown ball, a runners cut made too soon or missed arm tackles.

Good grief man, its the first pre-season game. Most of the "talent" wasn't on the field. How many snaps do you think the starting o-line played?

The coaches are out there in the preseason evaluating the guys who are fighting to make the team.

We'll have a chance in a few weeks to evaluate the coaches.

I agree - it's way too early to 'evaluate' anyone, players or coaches

IMO Gruden has shown that he's an OK NFL coach - not great but certainly not terrible

until Snyder lets NFL people manage things and the players & coaches know that they will be held accountable, we are a 7-9 win franchise

I saw Kerrigan lining up in various places, any thoughts on this?

For me:

- it's hard to feel much interest for pre-season games

- Scot's firing seems a long time ago. Was angry then; now numb; hoping for the best; won't be stunned by the worst.
