Who needs to attend? Its on tv. Snyder watched most of it. He's been following Mel Kiper and running mock drafts on fanspeak for weeks. We got this. :D

I wish this were half as funny as it was intended to be. Snyder's probably using a Ouija board if he's running the show. Or tarot cards.

there's "involved with the draft" like a lot of NFL owners and then there's Dan Snyder's being a part of the decision making

you all can quantify his "involvement" all you want - Dan Snyder is the main reason this franchise is in the mess it's in right now

there are not too many fans or media types that think that Dan Snyder's input helps this franchise - I daresay that most would feel the Redskins would be a lot better off if Dan Snyder was not as "involved" with this franchise as he is

of course, there's no real proof of that  the Redskins have just evolved into this current state because of bad karma ...

Maybe Bruce Allen will select a player that Jay Gruden really wants that Dan Snyder does not want here - like that's going to happen
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Mccdowell, Brantley, Wormley and Adams are all still available. I would like to add Mccdowell, Brantley or Adams.

But Obi, Josh Jones, Marcus Williams and Budda Baker should be available to grab at #49.

I'm hearing Allen was #1 on Snyder's draft board. He apparently loved the kid's game tape. No concerns about the shoulder either. Word is that he personally examined the MRI and found no structural issues.

but there's no real evidence of this or that he has much to do with the draft

I am really pleased that they did not trade up or down and especially that we were able to grab a top 5 pick at 17

hopefully these 2 bozos can keep getting lucky ... we have 9 more picks - let's just continue to add good players - we need help everywhere

keeping Cousins was a big plus last night as well

exactly - welcome to my way of looking at things here ... :D

just hoping it'll all get better and knowing there's little to no chance with these 2 bozos in charge

Well, acceptance is the first step to recovery and all that, I hear.

While your previous post about Danny boy reading the MRI was hilarious ---- this is the type of reasoning that irks me in today's world. People try to disprove something by taking a "wild assumption" and comparing or applying the same thought-analysis to what would be a pretty normal assumption.

In this case, you have Danny boy reading an MRI and providing his opinion. Ha Ha Ha. Obviously that's not true. Danny boy has never had a history of discussing a personal draft board or opined on sports medicine. Now, you are (or at least appears to based on prior posts) analogizing this to whether or not Danny boy is meddling in the FO draft process. Sure, there is nothing coming out of redskins park saying that Danny boy has anything to do with it and perhaps they are even saying he's completely hands off at this point (I have no clue as I have mostly "unplugged" since Scot's departure). As much information about Danny's meddling is coming out as is information about Danny boy's ability to read an MRI...... Now does this make those two things similar?

On the surface, a less informed person would say it could. There both assumptions, right???? And all assumptions are the same, right???? But when taking into consideration that actual circumstances --- hardly. If you consider Danny boy's rampant and consistent history spanning nearly 2 decades of tampering with the draft and ruining our teams ability to field a competitive team. Combined with the total sh!t show that was this offseason ---- it's not a crazy assumption to say Danny boy is firmly in the drivers seat when it comes to FO control and gives input into player personnel decisions. And supporting the counter-argument simply by saying there's no verifiable information to the contrary is naïve AT BEST. It is a moot point considering the only verifiable source that can confirm or deny Danny's involvement IS (1) DANNY, OR (2) THE FRANCHISE DANNY BOY OWNS. And considering he just fired the only real GM we've had in 30 years --- Danny boy is well aware that disclosing his involvement is bad for business. Real bad.

So -- I have decided to not allow myself to be naïve. I will form my opinions based on 20 years of consistent behavior. I don't need to hear it from the horses mouth --- especially when everyone knows Danny boy isn't dumb enough to do so.

Disclaimer --- Part of this is just a rant. So yes, I'm still pissed and Danny still sucks (he always has).
RIP Sean Taylor. You will be missed.

Isn't it awesome when Need and BPA are the same player, Bru? Simplifies decision-making... No brain required.

Rant excused. Yeah man, I totally understand the concept of false equivalencies. I hate them also, and I don't mean to do that in this case.

Like I wrote earlier, I'm sure that Snyder does give input on player decisions. I just personally find it hard to believe that he's involved to the level that some other people do. The idea that Snyder is setting his own draft board, evaluating players, etc; is as ridiculous to me as him reading an MRI.
