Hell Elvis stole most of his sound from Black Musicians. I wasn't alive then. But, I have listened to lots of music from that era. My dad hated Elvis. He called him Theftvis. My mom who was a fan of Elvis hated that.
And, yes I do agree with your thought about Berry being bigger than Elvis.
