WR Matthew Hatchette was one of 11 players cut today. The Jacksonville Jaguars today released 11 players, including four veterans: WR Matthew Hatchette, CB Blue Adams, G Konrad Dean and OT Marques Ogden.
Also waived were seven first-year players: RB Joe Smith, RB Robert Gillespie, WR Matt Cherry, LS Mike Gomez, C Marwan Hage, WR Fred Stamps and WR Allen Suber.
The Jaguars' roster now stands at 74 players, and the team has until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday to get down to the 65-man roster limit. At this time they also have four NFL Europe roster exemptions.
Man, I didn't even know he signed with them. He signed with them about a week ago. When he was here in 2002 and 2003, he was one of my "boys" like C-Sam, D-Mac, and K-Mitch are.
He had nice speed and good moves but it surprised me he didn't last under Spurrier.

I think I was forced to use him in a fantasy game, when due to poor planning all three of my receivers were on a bye week at the same time.
