Three Way Trade ??

Post by DarthMonk »

Kirk Cousins - QB - Redskins

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Redskins and 49ers may discuss with the Cowboys a three-team trade that would send Kirk Cousins to the 49ers, Tony Romo to the Redskins, and draft picks to Dallas.

Rarely in the NFL do we see player-for-player trades, let alone three-team deals this complex. But RapSheet's scenario makes sense, as Cousins has long been linked to the 49ers under Kyle Shanahan, and Romo was connected to the Redskins as a Plan B last week if they can't get Cousins to sign a long-term deal. Dallas could balk at the deal simply to keep Romo out of the NFC East, but if this is the only way they could get something for Romo, they'd have to seriously consider it.

ROTFALMAO
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

This is beyond stupid for us.

Why should we send away Kirk for Tony Romo? We'd get no picks back? It's so asinine that I would probably explode into dust.

If Dan Snyder is honestly entertaining such a deal I really don't know what more to say.

I was one who would take two 1st round picks for Kirk.

But now hearing this rumor I'd much prefer we sign Kirk to a LTD.

To let go of our Qb in exchange for a Qb who is one gust of wind away from a career ending injury is just beyond insane.
At the same time the Pukes would be getting the no.2 pick!

At this point I'm hoping Snyder just sells the team. 20 years of this is enough to make a fan go crazy!

STOP THE MADNESS........ Rappaport should be ashamed with that FAKE NEWS.

NOT HAPPENING FOLKS................
Three-way Cousins-Romo trade not happening
Contacted by PFT's Mike Florio, "multiple sources with direct knowledge of the situation scoffed" at NFL Network's report/rumor of a three-way trade sending Tony Romo to Washington, Kirk Cousins to San Francisco, and other compensation to Dallas.
One source called the rumor "conjecture," and Florio says Ian Rapoport effectively "made up" the story. Rapoport also reported Friday that Julio Jones was having foot surgery on Monday, but he isn't. The Cowboys certainly would not want to send Romo to a division rival, and there is no reason for Dallas to be involved in any trade sending Cousins to the 49ers. Florio wrote that Rapoport "gets points for creativity and for filling a slow Friday afternoon with a little intrigue." Put simply, the three-way trade isn't happening and was so unrealistic it almost seemed concocted from an online message board.

Like hell there isn't. Dallas would love for Kirk Cousins not to be in the NFC East.

Just threw junks.... despite the hilarity in the fact the pukes might've won it all last year had he played in the playoffs. NO.
