Schaub

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Schaub

Post by RagingRigginz »

Now obviously there is no QB controversy in Atlanta, yet...., but if Vick gets labeled as injury prone as he seems to be at this point, do you guys think that Schaub has the chance to be a starter else where sometime in the next few years. I can't help supporting Schaub since I am such a diehard UVA fan, but so far this preseason, and yes I am aware that it is just the preseason, he has thrown for 600 some yards, a 3 to 1 td ration and over 60% completion. I really liked the way this guy has looked so far. He's been breezin through the playbook since his entire career he played at UVA in the westcoast offense. Who knows maybe he should be tutoring Vick on his playbook before the season opener considering that Vick has thrown nine passes this far this preseason.

a lot of people thought doug johnson could be a starter in the league too...... he got his shot when vick went down. wasn't pretty. i don't think schaub is all that.

All i got to say is even Danny Woeful looked very good in the preseason.....True tests come in the real season but i must admit he has turned a few heads.

All that is true, but those guys just weren't pro quarterbacks. Schaub is, and I thought it was a very shrewd move of the Falcons to draft him, and I think he could easily develop into a starter in this league...
