Players On The Bubble

Post by GoSkins »

Tonights game against the Rams will be the last preseason game before the first cuts on 8/31. With the roster size to be trimmed to 65 by 8/31 who are the players that need to "catch the coaches eyes" in tonight's game?

I will try to list some veterans who I believe are on the bubble:

Cloman
Clemons
Clemons
Douglas
Elisara
Ferrario
Hamdan
Jimoh
Killings
Kimran
Mitchell
Morgan
Noland
Russell
Scott
Sellers
Smith
Stemke
Stephens
Strother
Terrell
Warner

Jimoh isn't on the bubble in my book. He should have been cut already to make room for some undrafted prospect DE.

I think Nic Clemons has already proved his worth. As has Gari Scott. I guess we will have to see if the coaches agree with me though. I am hoping to see Hamdan and Cloman in action tonight. That way we can see if they where they fall.

Jimoh is merely killing space until he gets released at a minute past midnight tonight.
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

Funny thing...as soon as I saw Jimoh on the list I thought, "there is no way that chump is on the bubble!" Then I read the following posts....and wholeheartedly agree with them.

Jimoh is a goner, for sure.

Yeah, the only thing Jimoh is on is crack if he thinks he will be a Redskin on Sunday.

Scott has peaked; his punt returns are horrible - loses yardage by running east & west and that also causes illegal blocks...where are you B Mitch?

Aint that the truth. He's a gonner soon.
I have travelled the net and found the Redskins promise land. This is, by far, the best site out there for Redskins/NFL News, Notes, Opinions, and so much more.

A couple others have shown some big strides of late so Betts could be gone. With as many people on the team and what has to go, he's a good canidate for packing his bags.

Betts will be here - McCullough or Rock will not likely be here - maybe Simon will be

I think Jimoh shouldn't just be cut but burned in effigy as he leaves the complex... that guy got burnt for TDs almost every time he took the field...

Warner was in on the Dline in the first quarter - I don't think he will be cut.

There were names on the field last night I don't ever remember seeing, even on the camp roster - I expect they are gone....

One thing is for sure - play will be better with the 4th stringers and camp fodder off the team come next game - they were a huge part of Jackson running all over us in the second half.
