Obviously RG Brandon Scherff is a solid player/ borderline great, but it is still fun to think what if? sometimes

Funny to look at that article. Leonard Williams might be really good for all I know. The Jets have been so godawful this year though, I honestly haven't heard Williams name once since he was drafted last year.

I won't be surprised in the next year or two if he puts up one of those dominant, highlight reel, defensive seasons. Scherff is never going to be that exciting, but I will never regret Scherff over Leonard Williams.

In the past two decades, when was the last time that the Redskins had a really legit, scary offense? I don't know if we have exactly that yet, but we're as close as I can remember. The team can take another o-lineman next year in the first round and you won't hear a peep out of me.

The highlight of Scherff bear pawing that Ravens D-Lineman across the formation was worth his high draft pick to me.

Scherff is a solid player. We need one more like Scherff on the Oline. Still our Oline is not a weakness.

The sole time Scherff went against Williams he dominated him albeit preseason.

Scherff was the right pick. But I can say everytime I see the Jets Williams flashes but Williams have Muhammed Wilkinson and Sheldon Richardson around him so he is getting alot of single blocks this yr. If you take those two guys off the team he wouldnt be as effective.

Hes good though for sure.

If Leonard Williams keeps up his growth then yes there will be lots of "What if" feelings but upon further thought I'm fine with picking Scherff. He should bbe in the conversation for best guard in the NFL by the end of next season and if not for Morgan Moses not taking the RT position after a spotty rookie year then I have no doubt Scherff would be a terrific bookend tackle on the other side from Williams.

Scherff was the safe, easy pick at a position of need. So far he's done as well as could be hoped.

If we're going to play the what if game then Scott should have nabbed Vic Beasley instead. Bloke has 14.5 sacks so far.

what if Sean Taylor was still playing safety

what if we'd kept all the players that are now still playing well elsewhere

and, most important of all - what if Dan Snyder had never bought the Redskins

just sayin' ...
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

The Redskins BS (before Scot) would have taken Williams - Scot trusts in building through the draft and taking the BPA
