Week 11 - the Packers at FedEx Field - Sunday night game

Post by SkinsJock »

with one of the NFL's hottest QBs on top of his game and playing for a huge NFL contract, the 5-3-1 Redskins are favored to win again this week in DC - mainly because both the vikings and packers are not playing well and the Redskins are

this game, this week is the only thing that matters

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Other than the Packers being desperate, this seems like a pretty good match-up for us. They can't really run so they should not take advantage of us there. They are good against the run but have been getting burned by the pass - our strength.

I'm just having nightmare flashbacks to Stefon Diggs torching us all day last Sunday.

we're due for a good "night game" - be huge to take down the Packers in front of a national audience

Thank you NFL...We have to Play the Packers on a Sunday night then turn around in like 85 hours to play on the road in Dallas....then back out west! Tough road for the Skins...

what a great opportunity - the pukes are believing the stupid media

can you imagine how deflating it will be if they go from 8-1 to 8-3 in 4 days AND after 2 games at home

GOTTA LOVE IT

we just need to win this game, this Sunday

then we can take care of that mistake we made in game 2 - and enjoy our Thanksgiving dinner

We get figuratively raped by the NFL scheduling process every year. Why should this year be any different?

The "pukes" are playing above all of the noise and taking it one game at a time. You hold on to your little Christmas wishes and we'll be ready with the broom and the Turkey on Thanksgiving.

Back on topic ...

Green Bay has a rep of being tough on the run but they've been leaking. They are desperate ... they can't just say "relax" anymore. We have a chance to kinda put them away.

This would be a GREAT week to break out of our red zone doldrums.

Agreed. This is a real "man up" kind of a game. I expect GB to be playing like a desperate team doing everything they can to get themselves back on track. We need to get after them early and squash that.

Obviously people are going to be pointing to the red zone, but I still think those long, methodical drives on offense can make a huge difference in this game. Keep Rodgers off the field as much as possible.

Time for every player that was on the squad last year to dig deep, and recall the agony of the playoff loss. I want them to come out like this is a win or go home game, and reap vengeance on the desperate fudge packers!!!

Sacks, ints, forced fumbles.... I want it all!
Bombs to Harris?! Yac from Crowder and Garçon, TEs getting big plays, Kirk scrambling for firsts, and fat Rob gashing for 100+ scores.. I want it ALL!!
Punts downed in the 10, punt returns being broke, every FG hit..... I. WANT. IT. ALL!!!

PUT THE PUKES ON NOTICE, WE are STILL the reigning CHAMPS!!!

I didn't want to start a whole new thread about Rob Kelley, but can I just say that guy is one of my new favorite Redskins. His performance last night was awesome. And Cris Collinsworth nailed it talking about how good he is at turning a two yard run into four or five.

Did anybody see his post game interview last night? Comes across as really nice, humble, excited to have his opportunity guy. Reminds a bit of Morris that way.

Hope we see more good things from this player.
