No wonder Scot McCloughan punched a wall and broke his hand back when the doctors first diagnosed the injury.
Well, I hope he's able to heal fully by next spring. I have a feeling that we'll really need him next year.

Its a disappointment, but they need to let him rest and get him healthy. Bummer though. I was wondering how they would make room for Derek Carrier coming off IR btw, related move?
Also, I read this in the article: "He could potentially return later this season, though, depending on where his health stands down the road." Not sure why they would do that exactly but interesting.

If it looks like we're headed to the playoffs (don't worry, I'm just saying "if"), and he really is 100%, then we may want to make sure we've got as many playmakers as possible dressing on game day.

Kirk needs all his weapons on the field so we can whiff on 3 consecutive fade passes in the redzone.

Re: Josh Doctson to IR
Tendinitis sucks. I have it flare up every now and then, practically keeps me from even walking, and physical activity when it's active just makes it worse. So really just staying completely off of it for a few weeks, then slowly working back into things will hopefully do the trick. It's not really an injury as much as it is just a condition
