HolySmokes, the game is tomorrow! I just checked and the odds makers have the Ravens (who'd name thier team after such a dirty bird anyway) favored by nearly 2 TD's! I'm speechless. We can't possible be that bad.

4 points, that is better than the OddShark predicting the score to be 15.4 to 28 Baltimore.
If anyone is stupid enough to give the Redskins 14 points - they're stupid enough
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Um, the vaGiants were 2-0 when we beat them.

Run the ball, Gruden. Run it. I was only half-joking when I suggested that the Redskins hire Coach Joe (Gibbs) and Coach Joe (Bugel) to give Gruden and his offensive coaches a one-week seminar on "winning offensive football in the NFL": balance passing with running, wear down a defense, don't give up the run.
Against the Baltimore ex-Browns, the Redskins ran about 20 times, threw more than 40 times. That's not balance.

Love to watch the team when they're running well and I don't disagree with your comments, but this still seems easier said than done. It would be a lot easier to stick with the run if they had any confidence the defense could bail them out on three and outs.
Running the ball 25 times for 50 yards might equal balanced offense, but its not necessarily winning offensive football in the current scenario.

Maybe it was the make-shift O line, thye worked enough together to do pass coverage but not enough to pull for running the ball?

I don't know. Seems like when I've listened to C00ley's film breakdowns the past few weeks, he's been pretty favorable towards the o-line. More criticism of Jones (not just from C00ley) for running too upright, dancing around and not punishing defenders enough on this runs.
The Ravens are also pretty good against the run. They're ranked 12th in the league.
