Knighton, Taylor, Maybe More In For Workouts
Later than some of us expected but the Redskins have Terrance Knighton and Phil Taylor in for workouts. Obviously, they noticed we can't stop anything up front.

Thanks for the update. Makes sense; can't get any worse....

Pot roast would be ok if he is a decent weight and shape, and I'd go in maybe 2.5 miles on him considering we are 5 games in

Lol I meant 2.5 million. But yeah, I think the reason no one else has picked him up is he is over valuing himself.

Return of the Haynesworth conditioning test, maybe?

Sounds like no moves for now, eh? That still surprises me with Pot Roast especially and the current state of the d-line.

Yup. Due diligence. On the other hand, the Giants worked out Josh LeRibeus.

Is that the league min? Because if you're on the street, you take the league min. Jake Long just took the league min and you can make an argument he could get more.
Regardless, Scot passed on Pot Roast. I guess the rumors are true in that he hasn't kept in good shape.
RIP Sean Taylor. You will be missed.

Sad. He could be making double-digit millions right now if he had really pushed himself starting 2015 free agency.
Re: Knighton, Taylor, Maybe More In For Workouts
We had better get some bodies in here that can stop the run prior to the Dallas game. They will not go away from the run. I do not want a Dallas RB, that went to Ohio State, running for 200+ on the skins but it is almost likely if changes aren't made. We made West look like a beast. Luckily the Ravens stopped running the ball. Dallas won't make the same mistake. Where's the beef, we need it.

Re: Knighton, Taylor, Maybe More In For Workouts
Chris Baker seems a little perplexed by the non-moves:
“I’m not sure. I’m just as confused as everyone else,” Baker said. “Obviously we have a need for a good nose tackle on this team. The guys that we have have been doing a great job, but, you know, Terrance or Phil Taylor, they actually are big, hefty nose tackles that can take on those double teams. Ziggy [Hood]’s been doing a great job. I played a little nose last week.
“We’ve just got to play with the cards that we’re dealt and hopefully we can just continue to get better and try and win some more games, but we’re kind of all confused by this decision not to sign either one of those, now both.”
“So the guys in the locker room are a little confused by it?” Dukes followed up.
“I’m not sure. This is our off day, so we haven’t really been around a whole bunch of the other guys,” Baker said. “But, obviously I’m close to both of those guys. I played at school at Penn State with Phil, and me and Terrance grew up together and I thought it was a forgone conclusion when I saw them both at the facility. And both was in great shape, worked out well, so I thought we’ll sign ’em both, if not, one, but I guess things didn’t work out that way.”
Asked if reports about Knighton being out of shape were true, Baker replied, “Oh, no. I watched him work out this morning, man. He looks good out there. Light on his feet. Him and Phil Taylor both, they look good.”

Was it Baker trying to run down Flacco in the final minute when Flacco ran for the first down? Whomever it was put forth a great effort, I was impressed because Flacco is fast and he was about to get creamed.

Chris Baker said he "was in great shape, worked out well," so I don't know what to think at this point.
