this Ravens bunch was down 20-0 against the Browns - they are favored by 4 but this is a Redskins team that is finding ways to win
it took 4 weeks to get Jordan Reed a TD - maybe we should have tried getting this guy the ball before that
with this defense the offense has got to take full advantage of every possession
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
Not sure what to make of this game. Until we see some kind of improvement on defense, just feels like anything could happen.

Ravens offense is not that big of a deal but their defense is playing very well

I think I'd trade a win in this game for a losing season overall, maybe with a win against Dallas and Philly. I just hate the Ravens (and their fans) that much; this feels like another division game to me.

I wouldn't go that far, but I feel like they have had our number for the longest time, beating them would be a pretty big win for us, but we can't play as bad as we did against the Giants or the Browns and expect to sneak out a win.

Well, we did win our last meeting in 2012 in what was a glorious game (aside from it being the beginning of the end for RGIII). We don't play them that often, so getting a win this year would be nice in that we'd have our own ~8-year win "streak" against them.
I'd almost prefer a "sneaky" win - I also cannot stand the Ravens
to win this game we have to play better offensively - their offense is not great so we are going to have to get a good game from our offense - this is the #1 ranked defense but against the Browns 2 weeks ago they were down 20-0 before coming back
this is the current CBS 'report' - "Current line: Ravens, (-3.5). If you're looking for a team to bet against, you might want to go with the Ravens. Since the beginning of 2015, the Ravens are just 1-5-1 against the spread as home favorites, a record that includes their Week 4 loss to the Raiders. On the other hand, the Redskins aren't exactly a road team you want to bet on. Since the beginning of 2013, Washington is just 10-15 ATS in all road games. This will be the Redskins' first trip to Baltimore since 2008, a city where they've never beaten the Ravens (0-3)."

I wholeheartedly agree with the caveat that if we have a losing season, I'd trade that for a blowout win against the Ravens.
If we can make such barters.... then I'd take a decisive W vs bmore AND a bully beatdown on Turkey Day vs the pukes.... that buys a season of dread any day

Why the hell are all games against the Ravens played in B'more?

I want this game badly but we need to see a lot better play from our offense in order to have a chance - the Ravens are very strong on defense and they can get by with a good game from their offense against out defense
be great to pull out a win but it would be a big surprise if we can do it
not to worry - there are 11 games left after this

It's the closest road game we can play so I have no complaints. It's that London game nonsense that has me scratching my head.

We got the better end of the deal for London. Every team in the NFL has to play there eventually, so it's unavoidable. I'd hate to lose a home game to playing at "home" there.
Like you, I don't mind playing in Baltimore because it's so close. It all depends on how many fans we can get up there, I think.

? The last game we played (in 2012) was at home.
I was counting preseason...

A W in B-more would be great, but if there is one W left in our 2016 schedule, I'll take a turkey day W any day of the week. Getting swept by the cowpukes is unacceptable IMHO.

At 2-2 right now, my impression is that we've lost to two good teams and beaten - barely - two average to bad teams. I didn't believe coming into the season that the NYGs would be very good, and I think they'll show that this year.
The Ravens look like a good, upper half of the league team from what I've seen so far. Bragging rights aside, I'd feel better about the Redskins if they can beat a quality team like Baltimore.

I think this goes way above simple bragging rights. Kirk Cousins is YET to beat a team with a winning record. Is this the game he finally does win? Imagine what a monkey that would be off of his back.

most here were not really expecting too much - the 2 things that have been hard to take is the disappointing play by the defense and the missed opportunities on offense - the Steelers would have been tough to beat at any time - we really could/should have won the game against the pukes - I agree that we are not going to win too many games against the top 15 teams but the reality is that we can as long as both the defense and the offense play well at the same time - we have not seen too much of that so far
going up 3-2 would be huge lift for everyone but even going 2-3 is not so hard too take as long as we see the 8-9 win team we'd hoped for and not the 5-6 win team we've looked like so far
both players and coaches need to do their jobs better - with a few exceptions, we have not seen much of that so far
