Tickets

Post by screwgun »

I've been on the waiting list for more than five years and and a fan for seven times longer than that. My question is , how long did most of you have to wait for season tickets ? The only offer I've gotten , is tailgate tickets. They are too pricey for me, although they offer quite a lot! I wish I could afford them. Thanks for any help.

I got mine after a 7-year wait. I think it helped because the interim coaches sucked which may have resulted in many fans giving up their tickets. With the return of Gibbs, I bet the numbers added to the wait list increased dramatically. That should not affect you (because you're already on the wait list); however, current fans may be less likely to give up their tickets since Gibbs has returned (which would, in fact, affect you). Be patient...all good things come to those who wait.

It took me 22 years to get my tickets ('79 to '01) but I heard last year, it was around 10-15 years.

That was before Gibbs came back, so it will be more like 30 years now.

Just guessing.

We get ours from a guy who had great seats at RFK but didn't like his seats at Fedex. He had a hard time giving them up this year though. Hope our name comes up soon or we might be out of luck.

Skinsfan1311:

How in the heck were you able to get such a monster upgrade? I keep hearing stories about other fans being told they can upgrade "a few rows".

Did you purchase a membership to the TAILGATE CLUB or some other Club that allowed you such a big upgrade?

I was number 45,000ish when I joined the waitlist in 1990. I called to check my status and I am now around 2000ish. How much longer do you think I have? 5, 7 years? Do the tickets always start Upper Deck Endzone? Can't wait to be able to go to all the games instead of just one a year!

I put my name on the waiting list in June of 1996, and got my season tickets this year.
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!

I put my name on the waiting list in 2001 and was 154,000-something at that time. I need to call and see where I am now.

Edit:
I just called, i'm now at 90,541.
At this rate, I might be able to afford the tickets by the time my number is called. hehe
