Cowboys @ Redskins Postgame

Post by Chris Luva Luva »

This team has been undisciplined under Gruden from the start. Amongst a myriad of other reasons... I think there's a strong possibility he isn't back next year.

Before y'all get upset and say I'm not a believer lmfao... I present exhibit A.

He is way out of his depth. It is clear he isn't NFL HC material.

Sink or swim with McVay. Sooner rather than later. Gruden can leave now and share a cab with Barry.

Hahahaha. I wasn't expecting that. Can you imagine if this losing streak continues past next week... It might just happen. At least we'll have a real GM conducting a search this time. I bet you Jim Harbaugh will get courted.

By whom? Also, for the season or for this game?

Expecting to beat a not-very-good Dullass team with a rookie QB at home was quite realistic.

It's a never-ending cycle of "who-knows-what's-wrong?" that never gets figured-out.

Cousins has shown he's not the guy. There is no aspect of the team that has shown improvement. We usually have a decent FG kicker, I guess.

Jay Gruden is not a HC. Look at the former coaches we have had. Haslett is now a LB coach! This operation has no idea what it is doing, or what to do.

The team has improved. The problem is that the trigger man is playing like complete garbage. Hell, Dak played better than Cousins. The running game is improved. Our TE situation is improved. Jackson looks better than ever. Our secondary is improved, kinda. lol.

We just can't score cus Kirk is out there derping it up. And Gruden can't discipline his team.

Interesting about Gruden. I think it's more who is available and how he handles the team the rest of the season. And Kirk is confirming he's not elite 20m+. It doesn't matter how he does the rest of the season. He's good, but he's not worth what he is asking. I would rather spend Kirks money elsewhere. Like the dline

LOL, we're not 0-2. I'm just dyslexic.

Nobody is saying that. I'm glad that Scot called his bluff.

Amen! And there is no question Kirk is doing better than the former franchise player. I don't mind if Kirk is the franchise qb if we sign him for 16-18 mil with an exit strategy if needed.

Yeah, as horrible as this season is shaping up to be. It'd be exponentially worse if we signed him to the more lucrative contract for a QB. Kirk can walk or take what he's worth at this point. And truthfully, if he turns it around after the season is lost, he won't get paid anywhere else. He will have shown that he folds under pressure. He's a bit of a head case anyway and I doubt he's gonna get out of his own way any time soon.

A desperate team would overpay him. I know it all doesn't fall on the QB and the team has other factors for losses. But I believe he is yet to beat a team with a winning record?

And yes you are correct again. It would be way worse if we had him for 24 mil a year next 5 years for example.

They may overpay him but he will NOT get paid what he would have received this offseason. That ship has sailed and I wouldn't be shocked if that's playing a role in this funk he's in.

A pep talk? LMFAO. I'm sure Scot had to resist from smirking afterward.

Just watching the elite teams of the NFL makes me realize how far removed Washington is from any of them.

In all of the years Snyder has been owner, not a single team was ever, remotely, Super Bowl worthy.

We were never gonna be SB worthy this year. We're still aiming towards consistency and competency. This is only year 2 of the McCloughan rebuild. It's going to take EVERY BIT of 4-5 years and the next step will be getting in a HC that he likes.
