Of Interest? 49ers OLB Marcus Rush, who led NFL in preseason sacks (6), was not claimed. He is free to sign with any practice squad.

Maurice Harris - WR - Redskins

CSN Mid-Atlantic's Rich Tandler reports the Redskins coaches are "very, very high" on second-year WR Maurice Harris.

A second-year UDFA out of Cal, Harris stands 6'3/200 and spent the first six weeks of last season on the practice squad before earning a promotion to the 53-man roster. He played 129 offensive snaps, catching 8-of-11 targets for 66 yards. Harris will likely compete with Brian Quick, Ryan Grant, and sixth-round rookie Robert Davis for the final 2-3 roster spots among receivers.

They seem to be placing a premium on size. I'd think Harris has a good chance of being a top four receiver this season.

Especially if he can catch a corner fade. 8-[

Corner fade? What's that?

Seriously, though, I hope the best for this guy. Seems like he has talent. I want someone that can come in and make an impact. (No offense to Ryan Grant, who I kinda want to see get displaced.)

I think the lack of a fade is more on Cousins than any of the receivers... It seems to be something he just isn't comfortable throwing. Maybe he gets it this year, with taller receivers to make him more comfortable.
