Terrance Knighton Released

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Terrance Knighton Released

Post by Burgundy&GoldForever »

The New England Patriots have released Terrance Knighton. Would it make sense for the Redskins to pursue him?

Got to be a reason we let him walk, then he didn't earn a spot in NE, nah?

He was going to be very expensive if they kept him. Now he would be reasonably priced.

We actually bid to keep him here. But the FO wasn't going to give him a raise (or even pay him as much as last year, IIRC). Looks like it was the right move for us then. I could see us bringing him in if he's in shape and has a chip on his shoulder now. But motivation and effort seemed to be part of the issue for why he didn't stay here longer, so perhaps not. I'm sure another team out there will be able to out-bid us, and probably overpay.
