Redskins Hall of Famer John Riggins is rejoining Red Zebra Broadcasting, in a robust role that will have him co-hosting the Redskins Radio Network’s official pregame show and making regular appearances on flagship station ESPN 980. Riggins will co-host the team’s pregame show with Kevin Sheehan; that show will also now be broadcast live at FedEx Field’s Bud Light Pavilion before home games, allowing fans to watch the broadcast in person.
He will also spend an hour in studio with new midday host Bram Weinstein Tuesdays at noon, will join Sheehan and Chris ey in studio for an hour Thursdays at 9 am, and will join his former teammate Doc Walker (plus Brian Mitchell and Scott Jackson) Friday afternoons on “Inside the Locker Room.” That will put him on 980 four days a week, his most extensive local radio work in years.
Meanwhile, Riggins is being replaced on 106.7 The Fan by former Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss, who will join Chad Dukes’s afternoon show twice a week and also have his own show Thursday evenings. Moss, a longtime 106.7 The Fan guest, will officially start at the beginning of the NFL regular season, but will likely make appearances before that.

It's a miracle he could get the helmet on that head.

Always one of the most entertaining guys on the radio IMO. Think I heard Santana Moss is joining a show this year too? Maybe 106.7?

Happy Birthday. We're the same age, by the way. OK, I'm about three months older so you can hold that over my head later.

I couldn't tell you. I've been out of the D.C. area for twenty-five years.
It will be interesting to see which program draws the most interest.

I think he was on with Chad Dukes last year, and I always enjoyed listening to him. I like those former players who seem like they're giving an honest opinion. He's always seemed like a really good dude too.

He was on the radio every Tuesday his last year with the team as a guest and was a good listen then, however remains to be seen if he can become a good radio guy.
ey and Kevin show is horrible. Thom Loverro comes in when ey is out and in an instant the show improves 50% because of their chemistry. If it was up to me I would bring back Loverro fulltime and have ey in parttime with a few of the shows doing breakdowns and giving analysis.

Agreed. ey belongs on The Drive breaking down the Redskins while Tom and Kevin do the morning show.
Andy is only good with Czabe. Andy is horrible alone.

I'm looking forward to their broadcasts, especially Moss' Thanks for that pic of Riggo bustin thru the line, that should be the picture in Websters' under 'FootBall Player' - it just don't get better than that.
