Jerseys

Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

On the back, the numbers are in four large squares and each number has a white stitch autograph and it says Redskins of the Century across the top. It is awesome, it's gorgeous, looks like it should cost hundreds but it's a knock-off. No chance in hell you'd know that unless I told you either. I'll post pics later, my brother bought it for me in South Korea.

I've seen that one and I think it is 3/4 great. I always though that the 17 was Kilmore since he played for the Skins for more than 2 years. I still can't figure out why there is a 17 on it. Why not a 7 or even an 11 for that matter.

That is like having Hostetler's number on an all century Giants jursey.

I still think the jursey is pretty darn cool even with the 17!

Rekindling an old one. I think the best suggestion I got back then was C00ley. Curious what folks think now.

I own JURGENSON, RIGGINS, MONK, and GREEN. They don't have names on them, just 9, 44, 81 and 28, but I still get "nice jersey" a LOT at every game I go to.

My mom bought my 6-year old a last-minute jersey for xmas. I was concerned - hoping he wasn't getting the latest version of SHULER.

He got MOSS. I was relatively pleased.

Of the current players, whose is the best jersey to own? Who might stay with the Skins for virtually his entire career thereby invoking pride when you don the jersey even after he's gone?

By the way, I tried to get a new number 44 a year ago but the NFL INSISTS on putting a name on it. I wonder if they are concerned about homemade profanity.

I'm pretty conservative with these. Obviously Trent Williams, but after that? Maybe Ryan Kerrigan. I have a good feeling about Scherff but it's too soon. In three years' time or so I'd hope to add: Cousins, Reed, Preston Smith, and one of our young WRs.

Thanks for the non-trolling reply.

Trent and Kerrigan are at the top of my list.

From back in the day: Manley, Marshall, Green, Riggins, Byner, Taylor were all favourites of mine.

From the current team: Would have been Morris, but I'd say Kerrigan now probably, maybe Reed. I have a feeling that Breeland jerseys could be very popular by the end of the season...

I have Portis, Moss, Taylor, and Orakpo.

If I had to buy a current jersey it'd probably Kerrigan. He's been a Skin for a few years and has at least a few left.

Ya know... I've yet to see a Cousins Jersey, despite the sea of Rgiii jerseys that came out of the wood works his rookie year. Maybe that's a good thing?

I too vote Kerrigan, of current players. I'd rock a Djax, although probably wouldn't buy one full price knowing he might be gone next year.

That said Hall has always been a guy I've rooted for and love his passion for the burgundy and gold. Williams would also be acceptable as a modern day HOG.. with Garcons contract nearing an end like Djax, I honestly would probably go Crowder over either... with hopes of him becoming the next CowboyKilla!!

I own Tana, Green, ST, Rak, Almo, rgiii. And a dope ass #21 Terry Allen reversible joint! Lmao
