Still too low. Probably the hardest tackle to beat, even without a quality starting left guard playing next to him.
I'm sure the top slots are reserved for "skill" players but I find it curious NaVorro Bowman said he's never seen any ballot or any player vote on this.
“He was at that time the smartest player in the league. We did everything we could to try to eliminate him from the play. We knew if we didn’t neutralize him, then we had less of a chance of winning.” - John Hannah on Chris Hanburger
A great LT is better than any RB (other than AP, Barry Sanders, Jim Brown) --- RB Bell from Pitts is low 40's...really?
The guy has had one really good year. Come on.
Who is the expert ranking these guys?
It's done by voting among current NFL players.
So, in a lot of ways, it's a popularity contest. The biggest names are going to be high up on the list, regardless of how good a player they currently are.

It's a popularity contest but among the people playing the game, which is why I find it more interesting than other rankings. Unlike the Pro Bowl, you don't see a lot of guys linger when they've had a bad season.
Popularity contest or no... winning the SuperBowl gets more votes than being eliminated in the first round. Just how it is. Trent may find this motivating... or he may just drive on as always. That's still pretty darned good.
