Burgundy jersey w/ white pants at home
Iam an old school football fan, and the Redskins uniform are one of the best in the NFL. I would like to see the team bring back the classic white pants and wear them at home with the burgundy jersey, and bring back the burgundy pants for away games.

If you are REALLY "old school" you would want Burgundy jersey with GOLD pants at home and White jersey with GOLD pants away...
... just sayin.

I want burgundy pants, white jerseys, and gold helmets. Or White pants, burgundy jerseys, and gold helmets. 
What I don't want is black helmets or idiotic looking designs like the ones people used to float around and claim were from Nike or Reebok.
Or advertisements on uniforms. Let the NBA have those.

The first uniform for the Washington Redskins - 1937:
Additionally, the practice of requiring teams to wear white when the away team did not begin until the 1950's, to accommodate black and white television, where color simply became different shades of grey. Color TV's became the "norm" in the late 1970's, but the rules have changed only minimally since.

The Redskins franchise colors are Burgundy and Gold - Gold pants would be best
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance

Joe Gibbs classic look: white jersey with burgundy pants at home and away, assuming the Redskins are visiting a team that uses their dark jersey at home...as most do. I'm not sure why Gibbs chose that combination, but he thought about details so he must have had a reason.
As CT says, "old school" Redskins would be gold pants at home and away; burgundy jersey at home and white jersey away.
