I really liked Tevin Carter going into the draft, maybe as a 7th round pick.

Safety from Utah, 6'1 218 lbs:

NFL Comparison James Sample
Bottom Line The individual pieces are more intriguing than the sum of those parts at this time. Carter is a terrific tackler who combines attitude and technique for memorable finishes. His cover skills and technique are a bit of a mess as a safety, but he’s still raw and moldable. Carter tackles like a linebacker and could be considered as a box-only safety with potential to move to linebacker if he can add good weight.

Or..."Was Joe Jacoby a first round pick? Neil Olkeiwcz? Jeff Bostic?"

Monte Coleman was an 11th round pick and played at least 15 seasons. Imagine that!!!

(I didn't see that we already had a thread...oops!)

Rob Kelley will make the roster. You heard it here first.

The Redskins waived the following player:

S Tevin Carter

That was fast. 8-[

Sounds like those question marks were there for a reason!

One UDFA they did sign is interesting:

Reggie Northrup, LB, Florida State: The most notable aspect was first reported in late March when he became Lil Wayne’s first client. The rapper, a noted sports fan, decided to venture into the sports business with his Young Money Sports agency and saw something he liked in Northrup. Maybe it’s because Northrup’s journey will be a tough one, going back to him tearing an ACL in a playoff game vs. Oregon in 2015. Northrup returned this past season but did not play well enough to be included on most draft lists. Northrup was listed at 6-foot-1, 231 pounds last season. He made 11 starts and led the team in tackles for a second consecutive season. So there’s clearly an element of commitment and toughness to recover that fast. He’ll have to show he can help on special teams. Northrup also was known for this rendition of The Robot after a win.
