Morris was drafted. He probably made about $2.2 million over the course of his deal in team salary, but that doesn't include endorsements or take into account what he would have paid in taxes.
Cowboys expected to host Redskins RB Alfred Morris on Monday.
Please Lord, no!!!

I wish Alfred the best no matter who he plays for - it's pretty obvious that he wanted to stay here and we let him go
I doubt that he has much left but he has huge desire - all the best to him
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Yeah you say that now. You'll change your tune quickly if Alf rushes for 1500 yards wearing a blue star on his helmet!
I hope Morris does well wherever he goes too of course. I would just be really happy if that place is not Dallas.
Man. I know the consensus opinion seems to be that Morris isn't the player he was that first year or two with Shanahan. But he's been durable and whatever you think of Dallas (not much likely), you gotta admit they have one of the best o-lines in the league. Would not surprise me to see him do well running behind that line.

I'm sure the FO factored in the possibility of Morris getting yards behind a good O line and felt that was not likely or he would be here
The Pukes do have a very good O line but this FO would not have let Morris go if they felt he could still get a lot of yards
I wish him well - I also have a lot of faith in this FO

Not to get another round of "C00ley is a douche" comments started, but his opinion on Morris seems to reflect what a lot of people on this board have been saying:
Something that Chris ey said about a departing Redskin didn’t get the attention that what he said about Robert Griffin III got. However, what he said about Alfred Morris on ESPN 980 was pretty harsh as well. “He played in 2015 so hesitant, so tentatively, and without confidence and without the burst he had in the past . . . that you had to say ‘he’s not our guy’” said the former tight end. This jibes with the observations of many, including me. Morris just didn’t have the ability to make the first tackler miss and without that he is a very ordinary running back.

A) C00ley is a douche.
B) He's right about Alfred Morris.

hah. Thanks for getting right after it, man.
- Chris' comments about Morris are not as bad but geez ... they're still a little harsh
whatever - Alfred is going to be remembered in a positive light here

Morris signed a Two Year deal with the Dallas Cowboys.
He's still a good guy and I wish him well 14 games a year.

good for him - I hope he continues to play well
I agree, I'll be pulling for him to continue to contribute but hopefully not when he plays against the Redskins
I have a lot of faith in our FO - if they felt that Morris could help this franchise they would have worked something out with him
