Our defense will dictate the day. I think they will be going on adrenaline fueled by the crowd. Aaron Rodgers is in for a long day. Redskins win going away.

Thanks Darth - looks like those seats might have been something Dan Snyder came up with

I agree that the defenses are the key and I think we'll get enough offense to win this
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

nice piece here - Joe Barry has done great this season ...

ASHBURN, Va. -- Pregame notes and analysis on the Washington Redskins as they prepare to play the Green Bay Packers on Sunday:

Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan helped change the culture because of the players he acquired. That much we've known. McCloughan wanted guys who loved playing and would prepare accordingly. Also, they needed to share his passion for the game. In changing the culture, McCloughan also helped increase the energy level. It’s not just him; corner DeAngelo Hall pointed out how much defensive coordinator Joe Barry has done the same on that side of the ball. “The message is always the same from a defensive coordinator, ‘We have to get to them. We have to stop the run. We have to eliminate big plays,’ “ Hall said. “It’s been the same message since little league. But it’s something about the way a guy delivers that message that tends to inspire people and Joe Barry has been that guy since Day 1.”

A real chance to win today. Our first playoff victory in 10 years would be SWEET.

10 years? wow - the good thing is that I think these guys could give a rats ass about history or anything they just want to play well

Packers fans are grasping at straws because right now "history" and past Packer playoff stuff is all they've got - Rodgers is an X factor because he's truly a great QB but unfortunately he does not block, tackle or catch and the other guys are not doing that very well at this time

I'm looking forward to seeing the Scot McCloughan effect make the difference here - Joe Barry has the defensive guys really believing in themselves and the offense just needs to not make mistakes so we can pull out the win

The NFL is going to see the Redskins in a new light - this is our moment and these guys that Scot has brought together are ready

here we go baby - we cannot lose - we are a whole different team and our future is now

we are lucky that we get the Packers this weekend and the Panthers next weekend - this is our destiny

after seeing that punt -will we be going into that wind in the 4th quarter?

GB won the toss - why are we not going with the wind in the last qtr?

Redskin playoff. welch checking in. I watched George Allen's team trample the Packers leading to SB 7. Billy Kilmer connected on a perfect TD pass to Jerry Smith. They won't be playing today and "Wiley" George won't be on the sidelines, but here's hoping this defense is as tough as the Over The Hill Gang.
