- Worst Redskin defense in a long time. Arm tackling always.

- Lousy pass protection.

Man how things change in one week... Playing a (beatable) team worth a Damn has reduced Gruden back down to the CFL level coach he is. What a waste

And Carolina will not go to the Super Bowl undefeated. Their schedule is very weak and will not make it past the playoffs. IMO, I don't think the Panthers are that good of a team.

Watching at a bar with many TVs and no sound: this was the last chance the Redskins had. Culliver made a clean play, picked the ball out if the air, scored TD. Taken away, and that was the end.

Kirk Cousins needs to extended for 20m a year for a 100 years. He is so good. His strong accurate arm that scares defenses and makes it impossible for defenses to take away the run and make him beat them through the air. He will win many, many SBs for us because he is a franchise QB that has all the physical and mental ability to be the best in the league.

Also extend Gruden. His complete game plan and his ability to groom pro Bowl players like RG3, Alfred Morris and Ryan Kerrigan is legendary. He always has a great game plan for teams with winning records.

We are almost there fellow fans.

Stats are grotesque: 8 first downs to 27 by Carolina, with 9 minutes to play. Redskins: 5 turnovers.

Redskins defense hit no one.

I'm convinced: change the team name now because:

- this team is so bad that the play is a weekly insult to American Indians

- this team is so bad that the play is an insult to older Redskin players. A franchise that had Sammy Baugh and Gene Brito? Charley Taylor and Paul Krause? Sonny Jurgensen and Bobby Mitchell? The Over the Hill Gang?

ROTFALMAO - you are a joke ....

as soon as they started throwing the ball instead of running it, we were in trouble - even worse was that the passes were completed and we still did not go to the run and make it the base offense from which we might have a chance - NO! - these idiots think that Cousins can win games with his arm - S T U P I D -

watching the game in CA & they made it impossible to watch the game for the final quarter - not even on directv - could not believe it

some of these guys could lose their jobs if they play like this at home next Sunday - and they should - that was terrible
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Gruden should have been all over the umpire for making that call, probably right to the point of being ejected. If you are the head coach you have to go the distance for your guys or they won't for you. It was time for him to manup.

speaking for myself, no, but Kirk Cousins has been "built-up" a lot here recently - while, he's the best QB on the roster, he's also no better than a very good NFL back-up QB which he's clearly shown himself to be since he joined this roster in 2012 - I like Kirk Cousins - he could be the best back-up QB in the NFL

everyone on the roster is responsible for the outcome of this game but the HC and the QB are always the main targets when it's this bad

don't get so defensive, that's just the way it is

That's not bad but I'd rather get fired up by a road win against an undefeated team. [-o<

This game was a classic disappointment - there has to be some changes made - EMBARRASSING to say the least

It was only a classic disappointment if you went into it thinking Carolina wasn't as good as their record indicates. Newsflash: They are. We needed to play mistake-free football and have some bounces go our way and neither happened. I think we're mostly in agreement that there are still a lot of personnel changes that need to be made, mostly at linebacker and safety. I wouldn't fault any quarterback for not being able to keep his team in a game when the defense coughs up 40+ points.

The Defense didn't Cough up 40 points... Kirk and the O share the blame for keeping them on the field that long. Had we been able to sustain drives and get them some damn G2 they might've had a fighting chance. The turnovers and short fields we gifted them are definitely on the O...

Bottom line is our coach is still not that good and same for our qb. I've applauded both after wins, but tempered my excitement knowing that a game like this was around the corner. I think we had some big heads after last week, but beating up on the worst (worse then ours even o_0 ) D in the league is nothing to get excited about.

Fwiw Kirk had something like 65 yards passing last week before all the YAC... Just to temper the praise a bit, like he's actually worth 17million a year or some *sh$t*?!

Another trashy game, hopefully NC beats up on Dullass, I'll be pist if they catch us in the standings next week!

Well... it's consistent with the beating the team took from the Patriots... so, only conclusion is that they truly suck against top tier teams... Cousin's pick was the result of a Kirk type brain fart... not enough time to set for that throw... not that it would have mattered... I mean, Garcon made NO effort to hide the pushing off that was totally blatant... it would have come back anyway. I think that set the tone for the rest of game... I can't help but wonder if it played with Kirk's head, as he did, essentially, nothing after that... this worries me a bit.

- The Redskins' arm-tackling drove me nuts. Stewart (? Carolina RB) kept getting bumped at or behind the line and kept going as guys tried to tackle him with one arm.

- Nobody hit Newton. Yes, I saw at least one sack, early in the game, but after that nobody got close. Hardly ever close enough to hit him illegally after he threw.

The defense is atrocious, this is the worst tackling team i can remember watching and we've had some bad defenses around here in recent years to compare them to. I don't understand Trent Murphy starting and don't understand our secondary play. The Panthers don't have a single WR that scares anybody yet they had guys running open all day, our play calling is timid on both sides.

They should have hired Wade Phillips! They had him in their lap with his son playing for us last year and Gruden picked Barry instead. That alone should be grounds for firing Gruden (as if they needed just ONE reason to fire #TheWrongGruden)! Wade has only made the Broncos one of the top two/three defenses in the league in just a few games.

The TD pass to Jackson was after the INT. But after that, yes, he pretty much was ineffective.

The pukes cannot pass us in the standings unless we really suck - the pukes are at 3-7 with 6 games to play - they most likely get to 6 or 7 wins - we really suck if we cannot win 3 or 4 of these last 6
