Move to Amend

I should have posted this on Labor Day, but really, every citizen should watch this.

I just love the narrative that unions are honest brokers...

Whether they are or not is beside the point. The Constitution has been subverted, and the solution lies in an amendment.

The fact that people are too stupid to recognize when they are being scammed does not justify changing the Constitution. Better the devil you know, anyway. As long as there are lawyers the law will be subverted. Case in point... Where is enforcement of the 10th Amendment? In a world where valid amendments are routinely ignored, why would anyone want another? Additionally, my read of that proposal leaves intact the ability of pinky ring wearing union "bosses" to continue to feed leftist politicians already in their pockets.

I will leave you to your fantasies of a "progressive" utopia.

I don't understand why a corporation should be free to contribute to a political campaign.

Because corporations are people according to Citizens United v. FEC 558 U.S. 310, whereby Anthony Kennedy's majority opinion held that money is speech. #-o

for the same reason that a union, which is simply a different type of corporation, should be free to contribute to a political campaign...
