Cousins will be fine - the franchise will move on from this and continue with the rebuilding that Scot is working on ...

we've got 2 capable QBs on the roster and it's their opportunity to show that they're worth more than they've shown in the past

this is the NFL and that stands for not for long if you don't prove your worth ...
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

That is not completely false at all, SJ. I've seen it pointed out by numerous outlets the past 24 hours that the INT wasn't all on Cousins. It wasn't a great decision - Kirk said he probably should have just thrown it into the dirt. But it was also poor play by Moses and a stellar play from Suggs.

Morgan Moses could’ve helped avoid the interception. He went in high at Suggs and engaged him poorly. Instead of blocking the linebacker low, and tying him up, forcing Suggs to use his hands to fight through, Moses more-so looked like he was simply trying to impede Suggs’s path to the quarterback, and then the linebacker did a great job of reading the play and making the interception.

We need to quit acting like Cousins can't throw INTs ever. Every fing QB in the league throws INTs. What we need to know is can Cousins throw an INT in a game and not fall to pieces. INTs are going to happen. FOUR INT GAMES can't happen.

+100000. You are completely right, man. If we take anything from that game at all, this has to be they #1 key stat. Many of us have been saying this for a year now, and it goes to what we've been hearing that the o-line has been frustrated trying to protect Griffin.

I don't know how good the o-line really is yet. I was kind of disappointed with the run blocking early on for Morris. But I'm pretty sure they're better than what they showed against Detroit with Griffin under center.

Cousins was apparently just named the week 1 starter.

I'm just hoping that Cousins can be better than a good backup QB ... and, about his turnovers ... it's what he does

Gruden has said that both of these guys are competing to play QB here - this is good for both the offense and the QBs

Who knows man? The unfortunate fact is that our "good backup QB" is way ahead of our supposed franchise QB. What choice do we have?

true dat - last week it looked like we were going to have Griffin play QB and that did not look like the best choice for this offense
now we are apparently letting Jay and his staff put the best players for the job out there - this is a good thing

it's all relative, we're not winning more games because Griffin is not playing QB
hopefully the offense is better off without him but the O line is still a work in progress and the secondary and Special Teams are still an issue

I'm hopeful that Cousins can have a really good season - I still think he'll be elsewhere next season but who knows ...
we do have McCoy and we do have time for Scot to do his thing and bring in the players we need

things are looking up from a week ago - it's Capt. Kirk time
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance

Unless we do! :)

I agree with you though about other issues on the team, especially the secondary. If we're constantly allowing teams to go up 24 points in the first half, its going to be hard for any QB to be successful.

The good news is that it would appear now that Gruden is in control of who plays and that is a really good thing

having NFL guys in charge here could do wonders for the attitude and play as well
