I don't feel like I have to come out here and show anybody anything or why I'm better than this guy or better than that guy. I am the best on this team. I feel like I'm the best in the league and have to go out and show that"
"I feel like I'm the best quarterback in the league, and I have to go out and show that," he told the station. "Any athlete at any level, if they concede to someone else, they're not a top competitor, they're not trying to be the best that they can be.
"There's guys in this league that have done way more than me. But I still view myself as the best because that's what I work toward every single day."

I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"

It doesn't matter if what he says is true, if you think Griffin has been gifted anything, or if you think Cousins/McCoy is the answer. If Robert said anything other than what he did, then he should be immediately benched. Because if he doesn't believe that, then no one else ever will.
Griffin's job is to be ready to play, and that takes confidence. The media, in all its glory, can suc. . . jump off a bridge. Man, good thing he doesn't have a radio show or anything.

Obviously I have a problem with a guy who has played as poorly as Griffin the last couple years running his mouth. I would also have a problem with a highly productive guy so full of himself he announced he has nothing to prove, was not only the best at his position on the team but thought he was the best in the league. I think you'd have a problem with his comments also in another Redskin who didn't contribute much the last couple of seasons went off like Griffin. Saying this sort of stuff is moronic.
“I don’t feel like I have to come out here and show anybody anything or why I’m better than this guy or better than that guy. It’s more about going out and affirming that for me, I go out and I play, I know I’m the best quarterback on this team.I feel like I’m the best quarterback in the league and I have to go out and show that. Any athlete at any level, if they concede to someone else, they’re not a top competitor, they’re not trying to be the best that they can be. "We gotta play 'em one day at a time."
"I'm just happy to be here. Hope I can help the ball club."
"I just wanna give it my best shot and, the good Lord willing, things will work out."

This is the part I agree with since he's been gifted the job for the 4th year in a row.
