Well, obviously (as expected) the dream was over before it began.....alas.
Now my only dream is to see the Cowboys lose each and every one of their remaining games this year....and miss the playoffs!
For the next few weeks, I'll be
an Eagles fan (except for Week #17),
a Giants fan (except for Week #14), and
a Saints fan.
DIE YOU COWBOYS, DIE!!!!

Oh what the heck! The Skins aren't as bad as their record indicates... they've got room to grow and get better. I'm gonna track last years games/ record vs. this year's games & record. My hunch is - We're playing closer games, we're within a TD this season vs. last season's asswhippin's...
I'll post the results.

Losing is losing, and only teams that are losing need find solace in the ways that they lose.
If we had an owner that showed a propensity to stick with something and see it through, it might not be so finite. But, the most impatient Redskin fan on earth is their owner. As long as he refuses to sit back and let anything run it's course, every bad season could mean possible wholesale changes.
IMO, that makes marginal progress moot, and it makes losing... losing.

Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.
Well said Boss. It seems there have been glimpses of positives in almost every game we've played...won or lost. The emergence of our back-up QB, which btw would have never happened had Rob Johnson not turned out to be a HUGE flop. Samuels getting injured has allowed Winey to step up and has played very well over the past few games. McCants has filled Gardners shoes and could send him post season packing. Noble's pre-anything injury has eventually led to signing Russell, who we might have otherwise overlooked. Morton put one in the endzone...which is why we brought him here, not to mention hasn't looked too bad running the ball on occasion. I could go on and on. We have lots of talent...and some of it is in the most unlikely places. So there's positives all over, if you care to look. As long as you don't look at the coaching staff...I draw the line, there.
