My first Redskins game

Post by Kentucky Fried Hog »

Hey Hog Brethren,

Skins fan since 1988. I'm arranging travel for my first ever Redskins game. It'll be the season opener against Miami (Sept 13). I wanted to run some questions by you regulars if I may..

I'm planning on travelling on Saturday and staying close to the Greenbelt station, then taking the Metro to Morgan Boulevard and walking to the stadium. This will be a fairly easy route, correct?

Also, I do not have my ticket yet. Being that it'll just be me, I figure I'll probably be able to score a single ticket in a really good section. Can you recommend your ideal section in which to sit? I'd like to spend less than $200.

Does anyone know when tickets will go on sale on Ticketmaster?

Thanks in advance, I can't wait for gameday! HTTR!

First, all metro routes are online... So that should give you help.

Second, tickets are already on sale. Here is a link for one ticket, lower level close to midfield for $199: http://www.stubhub.com/washington-redsk ... nt/9298613

I try to go to 1-2 games a year and I find the best experience is LL, especially if it's your first game. I think on the 2ncd level tickets are awesome only if you get rows 1-14...after that its obstructed view. To me, Club level are too expensive and nosebleeds are way too high. Good luck!

Link above didn't work, but click on Section 104 and sort for 1 ticket and it will come up.

Thanks a million for the info. I think I have it narrowed down to sections 104 or 204. Not much difference it seems in the view (may be able to see the field better in 204) and price is similar. Thanks again.

Hey Kentucky, without looking at diagram of the field.. be careful with the 200 section because after a certain row I believe the seats are obstructed brother
