Bring back Cooley.........!!! Reed is always hurt (still)

Post by tribeofjudah »

This Reed kid is too fragile with all his injuries. Hey COOLEY..........!!! You go a few more runs? Come on back buddy....!!!

Jordan Reed dealing with knee issue in OTAs
Redskins TE Jordan Reed is "getting checked for soreness" in his knee.
It appears the injury-prone tight end is undergoing tests. Reed dealt with knee issues his rookie offseason, but has primarily been sidelined by hamstring issues. It's extremely unwelcome news that Reed is already at less than 100 percent.

Some players are just nagged by this stuff their whole career. It's certainly a risk you take in the draft when that's their track record and reputation coming out of college. Honestly, while Jordan is a great athletic talent, it wouldn't be too hard for someone else to replicate his production thus far in the league. I just wouldn't be too bummed if he didn't work out.

I am pulling for him, though. He's got a high ceiling as far as talent and potential is concerned.

Im down on Cooley now a days, as a radio personality I cringe when I hear he has an opinion about something. Plus we tried the Cooley comeback special and he couldnt make the active roster due to fluid in the knee. Im happy with Paul and Paulson. They may not be stars but they are reliable, consistent, and possess decent talent. We should pick up a young kid with good size and build him up if anything. Could also look at one in a future draft too.

Ok Prowl, let's go back and get Clint Didier then ...........lol. Heck he may be healthier than this kid.

I agree with everything but the highlighted portion. I'd be bummed because I know he does have such a high ceiling. I want him to have an injury free season, just to see what he's capable of.

Some players start out hurt a lot but then something happens and they aren't hurt again. Phil Simms is a great example. I want to be optimistic about Reed, leave me alone!

It's good to be that way, I used to be but I stopped dreaming and started hallucinating.
