Against a playoff team and a superbowl team!?! Not too shabby. Could be better, but not as bad as I thought

Im impressed with it, I like our defense alot, But think we still need some work on the offense, The Quaterback situation is driving me nuts.

Actually not too bad considering Gibbs isn't showing anything yet.
How many more sleeps until next season?

Exactly! No zone blocking, no set blocking schemes, Cooley even said they had somehthing like 4 or 5 running plays altogether for the last game (which if you watch closely you could call what they were going to run by the latter part of the second qtr)

Actually, neither were they. Still, with the exception of the offense, I like what I've seen early in the preseason thus far.

Our stats look great and I like what I am seeing from our receivers. We also have more sacks than two teams combined.

If we can hook a top 5 defense out of these guys, we may be looking at a possible contention.

Brothers and sisters. I said back during free agency, that people should not doubt our defense. So what if we don't have a "true pass rusher". Our talent is deep and hasn't had a chanced to be coached by the likes or the abilities of the coaches on this team this season. My god, except for us, the true fans, does anybody out there really understand what's going on right now in the Washington Redskins organization.

With the return of Joe Gibbs, a whole lot of things are going to change. His return marks the return of tradition, loyalty and give your guts football for the team kind of attitude.

With his choice of Williams as Asst. Head Coach/Defense you could not ask for a better D-Coordinator than that. Gibbs went out and got the best and we drafted as well as we could with what we had. Our defense will have to lead and set tempo. If they can do that... Watch our offense go!!!!
I figure... If life is all about the choices you make... Then I choose Redskin football, beer and hot wings!!
