We had to use Moss as a #1 for almost his whole career, and not that he did bad... he was short and speedy and built for the slot.
Jamison Crowder might be that for us without being forced to be a #1 receiver and be pressured to be the only productive player on the team.
He should be a great piece to our receiving corp, giving Robert a good short target to hit... that can actually catch the ball. Partner that up with a healthy Jordan Reed, and our new mammoth 3rd down back, our short passing downs should start looking a lot better.
Could Jamison Crowder be what Santana Moss should of been?

While I get the sentiment. . Moss was a BOSS and ill take what he was over a whatvhe shoulda been.. had his career looked different with say Randy Moss on theoutside? Of course. For better or for worse though?
With Andre Roberts underwhelming performance mostnof last year, and failing to make the most of his opportunities, I think the door is open for this guy; so long as the CowboyKilla doesn't reclaim slot duties!

Exacty. I'm glad we had Santana! He was a #1 for years (2005-2010) just didn't have a consistent qb to throw him the ball.

With you guys. I like the idea behind drafting Crowder, but not sure what Moss has to do with anything. We've been lucky to have him all these years, shame the team around him wasn't better for most of that time.

Guess my point was that Santana was awesome, and was imagining him having a good QB, and us having other good receivers on the roster to where he could of played the slot. With his size, speed, and skill, in the slot, he likely would of been even better than he was as our #1, and arguably one of the best slot receivers ever in the nfl.
