Any of you think about who we would of drafted with the dynamic duo calling the shots?
I think we would of ended up with Williams in the 1st and Randy Gregory in the 2nd... everyone would of been thrilled, and I think they would of failed.
Williams would of started on the outside of our 3-4, and would of gotten swallowed up by the bigger nfl offensive linemen, but would of been great in our 4-3 packages. Overall he would of been a good player for us, but not #5 overall good.
Gregory would be a complete failure. He will be suspended in the future, and even when he is on the field, his size is gonna make him get dominated by left tackles, te's, and even running backs blocking.
Instead, Scot got us a RT who should dominate for atleast the next 10 years, and a huge right olb that physically can dominate anyone, and after an offseason with our strength coach and position coaches should have the rest if what he needs to do it.

They would have screwed things up selecting flashy guys including guys like you said. Scot is a huge improvement. After the first couple of rounds it didn't go quite as I hoped but I am sure it will be a more productive draft than so many others that Snyder spoiled.
Re: If Bruce and Danny had done the draft...
Now that I think about your question some more your narrowly defined things by saying they've pick different guys that wouldn't have worked out so well, I think they could've made some *sh$t* trades also. Snyder has a complusion to be a dealer and would've done something really stupid.

Yeah, their draft would have been ugly, but I don't think Williams would have been a bad pick. He's plenty big enough to play DE in our scheme and our D-line would be scary.

Somewhat scary. We wouldn't have had the same FA moves Scot made earlier.
