May be a good 3rd down back starting out, hes pretty big and is a good blocker. Not sure about his hands gonna have to look for tape. Could be good in the power running to fill in for alf and in future years as he settles into the nfl. Seems like a very good special teams player for us.

Im happy.

Twitter board blowing up about Jones being the best blocking RB in the draft, aswell as having pro caliber hands (under utilized in NCAA). Can he be a DY/AlMo mixture of beastmode/ power? We needed a RB on the cheap to be the reserve but was this a late third round reach?
Im thinking Scotts board has a lot of guys about even right now, and felt the BPAs up until this point had been taken for this high 3rd rounder. With the early 4th im curious what he has up his sleeves!

To be fair, we used Seattle's 3rd rounder. It's basically top of the 4th round, so not THAT big of a reach if he was a target.

First pick I'm not pleased about. I assume he's a good back and I hope he's a contributor this fall but I was hoping for a smash mouth, drive blocking, mauler of a guard. A good nasty guard in the lineup next to Scherrf and the backs we got could probably be more productive, it seems to me holes have been the problem rather than quality of the backs behind Morris.

Looking forward to the rest of the picks. Maybe there's a few good guards Scot thinks will be available in the 4th, I hope so anyways.

Yes, I hope we grab Tre Jackson, guard from FSU. With that being said, my hopes may not align with the GM, and I'm pretty sure he knows more than me :-), so I will roll with his picks and support the team this upcoming season, because I definitely see a change in philosophy and I like it.

We have two of the top picks in the 4th round...

Let's get best big OG and Stefon Diggs. We need another beefy lineman and we need a punt returner. Roberts was not impressive last year.

I like the huge RB pick, we needed that hole filled on our roster.

We are going old school. Beefing up the Hogs II oline and now a bruising back ala The Diesel John Riggins.

Scot's connections around the League pays off BIG TIME. The Seahawks seemed desperate and gave up ALOT for the the #69 spot.

'Hawks trade up for K State WR Tyler Lockett
Seahawks traded up with the Redskins to select Kansas State WR Tyler Lockett with the No. 69 overall pick in the 2015 draft.
Lockett cost a pretty penny, with the Seahawks sending the Nos. 95, 112, 167 and 181 picks Washington's way. Lockett (5'10/182) rewrote the K-State record books, compiling 249 career catches for 3,710 yards (14.9 YPR) and 29 touchdowns, and scoring six return TDs (two on punts, four on kickoffs) as a two-time winner of Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Year. Lockett blazed 4.40 at the Combine with a 35 1/2-inch vertical and 10-foot-1 broad jump. Twitched up, versatile, and highly competitive, Lockett has drawn comparisons to T.Y. Hilton and Antonio Brown. Despite his size deficiency, Lockett projects as an early-career impact player on offense and returns. He could be the Golden Tate replacement the Seahawks couldn't find last year.

Just to be "that guy," wouldn't the proper syntax be BAP? You know... Put the noun at the end?

Be patient man. We have two early picks in the top 13 today and there are still some good options out there at o-line. TJ Clemmings is unbelievably still on board. Tre Jackson. BJ Finney.

The nice thing about that trade back is that we picked up 4th, 5th and 6th rounders. The sixth rounders are #5 and #6 that round too! Not just a bunch of 7th rounders with no hope of making the team. Scot can make his money with those picks if he does well.

Not really sure what to make of Matt Jones. Scot did say he wanted big football players, and he sure as hell is proving it with this draft. Good blocker by all accounts, but supposedly not much of a pass catcher. Anyway, I'm all in on Scot right now. He has a draft philosophy and is sticking with his plan. Not sure we've had anything like that in the Snyder era before.

I like safety Adrian Amos out of Penn State a lot btw. That's a player I'd like to see us grab today. Really like Davis Tull, OLB out of Tenn-Chatanooga too.

Can't wait to see how this plays out today. HTTR.

Never a bad idea taking an Alabama lineman. You look at how Trent Richardson and Mark Ingram have been disappointments, its mostly their line doing the work.

Finally! I wanted a OG much earlier but hopefully Scot found us one who can start. Hopefully Scot knew the selection of guards was very deep and he thinks this guy will be starter.

Theres gonna be a few pics Scot makes where we scratch our heads.... some will be busts (hes not perfect) and some we will look back and say "Wow, how the hell did he know that guy would be so good"

His batting average across his career of making pics tellsus we should look for the upside in every pic he takes, because Scot believes there was enough to not take a lot of other players.

That report makes him sound like an anthromorphic turd. Obviously there's something that made Scott, Jay, and Callahan agree on wanting him.

Ouch tough review. There have been a number of Bama lineman bust in the NFL hopefully Scot found a winner but that is a brutal review.

He doesn't look unathletic from what I saw on youtube. He gets to the second level and pulls in time. Uncoordinated, yes. Plays high, yes. Unathletic is a stretch. Especially for a guard. They say all of them are unathletic. He's long and he seems to have pretty good feet.
