We essential stuck a finger to Mara and the Giants by taking Scherff.

Surprising. I thought the Bucs would take him. (TJ Clemmings btw.)

The Boys got the bad boy we'll see how it works out. My guess is the NFL money is going to lead to out of the league problems.

Cowboys really takes risks:

Hardy, out for first 10 games this season
Dez, kid with troubled past (seems to be getting better)
Gregory, if he violates League rules...........he could sit out a few games too.

I hope the young resolves his problems but I'm glad the Skins passed on him.

For #Cowboys fans: Gregory's off-field issues are more than just a positive drug test. A lot. Checks far too many character concern boxes.

WTF? Schefter just posted this on facebook:

Randy Gregory's representatives made it clear that, whichever team drafts him, needs to have a support system in place that would be expected to include a security person and a personal handler who would follow Gregory at all times. To Gregory and his representatives, it didn't matter where in the draft he went, but where in the NFL he went. He was adamant that it would be with a team that would support him. Dallas has been through similar experiences in the past, providing helpers to wide receiver Dez Bryant after he was drafted. And there are expected to be Gregory Rules and followers in Dallas as well.

Wow!

Redskins trade No. 69. They get 95th pick and 112 and 167 and 181.

Picked up an extra 4th, 5th and 6th rounder.

McGloughan gets his ten picks.

Interesting, don't think we get the rookie starting guard I was hoping for now. These late picks are going to be interesting I think we'll have a lot more turnover than I expected. I expected more than a normal year but with this move I think a few extra lockers are turning over now. I wonder if this has been his plan or did he opt for this after the run on guards.

I wonder if AJ Gann was our target at the 69th pick. With him off the board a few spots earlier, did Scot pull the trigger on the trade? We'll not likely find out.

Perhaps... But he was clear the the wanted 10 picks out of this draft. I suspect he simply thinks there are gems to be mined in 4,5, & 6, and he thinks he can find them...

Tandler says that Skins may "move" back up a few spots, so we never can tell. Our GM is working his magic.

Im sure Scot has some guys in mind in the mid to late rounds that may start, and create depth and be huge help on special teams... our special teams has been horrid last few years, and some good players there would be good for us too.

Oh and for the saints i love their pick of Garrett Grayson, I liked this kid, and they likely have created a situation like Green Bay did with Rodgers/Favre... kid will get a few years to learn under the great Drew Brees before he finally hits the field. Hope the skins get to do that one day years and years from now.

I pretend to know the inner most thoughts and plans of our FO, and I'll bet there was a massive internal fart when young Jordan Richards, the safety out of Stanford was scooped up a few picks ahead of us in the 3rd. We promptly traded down.
