Shane Ray, was recently cited for Marijuana possession.

His stock WILL FALL..............more character issues for these youngsters.

Mizzou OLB/DE Ray busted for drug possession
Missouri edge rusher Shane Ray was arrested Monday morning for possession of marijuana in Cooper County, Mo.
What a bonehead move by Ray, who was later released from county jail. His stock was already crashing some because of a foot/toe issue that may require surgery and force him to miss rookie minicamp. Early in the pre-draft process, Ray was talked about as a possible top-three pick. Now, he may find himself lasting until day two. Ray (6'3/249) has a high motor but lacks ideal athleticism.

Browns swap with Skins......? it could happen folks.

Report: Browns discussing trade into top ten
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Browns have had conversations with the Redskins about trading into the top five.
Cleveland sits at Nos. 12 and 19 in the first round, while Washington has the No. 5 overall pick. We suspect the Browns would be targeting a wide receiver, perhaps West Virginia's Kevin White. Per RapSheet, the Browns have "touched base with most teams" selecting in the top-ten picks. Cleveland is not one player away from contention, but this isn't an organization that has made many sensible moves since Jimmy Haslam took over as owner. Nothing can be ruled out.

They didn't make such good moves BEFORE Haslam bought the team.

If they offer #'s 12 & 19 for #5, I would jump on it.

ABSOLUTELY. Cleveland certainly has a propensity for over-paying... And, that's a deal we can make...

Countertrey wrote:Kiper is no more accurate than you or I. Brandt is close to a talent evaluation God... but, the difference between 8 and 5 is a reach.
He is clearly the best OL talent in this year's draft... but we should all be fully aware of what top 5 talent looks like... He is not it.

That's what people keep writing, but I still haven't heard an answer to why. Brandt basically has Todd Gurley, Kevin White and Amari Cooper as the three players ranked ahead of him at 5 (I'm throwing out the two QBs). Why is Amari Cooper a "top 5 talent", but Scherff is not? If you take Scherff at #5 and he becomes a day one starter and your starting RT for the next eight years, was he worth #5?

Honestly man, I think the issue in this draft is that there are not a bunch of obvious top ten picks. That's why there is no real consensus on who the top five will be. Nobody is even sure who the top two will be which is pretty unusual.

Agree with you about Kiper of course. Just pointing out that there are people who have Scherff as a top 10 guy this year.

I have him as a top 10 guy, too... But, NOT a top 5 pick. There is "good enough" talent to be found later. IF we pick at 5., it must be a killer.

'Course, Mariotta isn't actually top 5, either, but he will go there because (as we well know) teams go stupid for a quality QB.

I hear you man. I think it will really come down to what SM values the most in these guys. Guess my point is that I don't think he would be wrong to take OL there if that player fits what he is looking for and his plan for rebuilding the team.

Btw did you notice there's starting to be some talk about Jax liking Amari Cooper at #3? I wouldn't blame them for that pick. Things could be very interesting by the time #5 rolls around.

1) We made so many defensive moves in free agency. Rightly so.
2) We have so much invested in RGIII and really need him to be successful.

Brandon had ONE (1) measly vote here.

It shows what we know about drafting (which is nothing) hahahahaha

Me! lol. And to your point, I didn't believe the team would actually take him there.

Looking at it though fellas, the Giants were definitely going to take him at #9. If it was a reach at all, it wasn't much of one. He's a top 10 guy on pretty much every team's board. For SM he was apparently top 3.
