Now this makes a whole lot of sense to me ... some of these players need to understand this concept better ...
if you're all about the amount you deserve to get paid, go find yourself a franchise that wants to overpay you ...

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

See, what makes sense to me is a player getting every last dime he can out of any team. Every player should be all about the amount they deserve to get paid. The only question is whether the market (any team) agrees. If a team is permitted to cut a player without having to pay them any more money on their agreed upon contract (which they are), then whenever a player has leverage he should hold the team's feet to the fire for whatever amount (guaranteed, because see prior sentence) he feels he deserves/can get. This concept that getting the amount you "deserve" is tantamount to being "overpaid" is a disgusting farce.
To paraphrase, the greatest trick the devil ever played was making Joe Fan believe that players are greedy money grubbing criminals and that Franchises are all about the good of the game and "the team". Remember, the salary cap is a function of the owners not wanting to pay the true value of their players. Funny, I don't recall any baseball owners going broke without one.
I know he got a pretty good zip on the ball. He has a quick release. . . once I seen a coupla' throws, I was just like 'Yeah, he's that dude.'"

I feel that players should get paid very well but for a single player to get a salary that makes it difficult for the team to keep other very good players is not fair to the other players on the team
I have nothing against the players getting a great salary but when that salary affects the ability of the franchise to keep other good players then I think the player needs to understand that maybe $20M is a pretty good salary
I hope that Wilson gets paid $25M, he's worth every penny - I also really, really hope that the Seahawks don't pay him $25M
that would be great for both Wilson and the Seahawks

Ain't gonna happen. Wilson will stay and they will work something out.
