Last night I am flipping through channels and I come across channel 275 as NFL TV! I could not believe it Comcast finally started to carry the NFL Network! I am just upset that they did not notify their customers of this! NFL Network is so great!

Darn it! Of course we don't have Comcast. I would love the NFL network!

Whenever I start to get blue, I just breathe!

Comcast tees up NFL channel
Julekha Dash

Comcast has signed a multiyear agreement with the NFL Network to add the channel to its digital cable lineup.
Programming on the NFL Network, which is owned by the National Football League and its 32 clubs, includes a news and information show, a weekly game preview show and live preseason games. Comcast will also offer a video-on-demand service in certain markets that will allow customers to get highlights from the NFL Network and access to the NFL Films library.
Locally, subscribers will have access to all Ravens games on On-Demand. The games will posted the day after they are played.
The network will be added to Comcast's Digital Plus lineup, making it available to the majority of Comcast's 8 million digital cable customers, Comcast said. The network will be added this month.
Comcast serves 24 of the 30 NFL team markets, and is the leading cable provider in more than half of those markets, including Baltimore and Washington.
Comcast announced earlier this summer that it would expand its On Demand services to include programming from CBS, BET, Nickelodeon and MTV for digital cable subscribers in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Harford and Howard counties.

I guess that depends on which other cable company buys them and when.

Agreed. They are a big reason why I have DirecTV instead of cable. My understanding from reading a few news articles is that Adelphia is going to be auctioned to other providers. I'm not sure if that is related to the founder and his son's behind convicted of embezzlement or not.

I just found out that Cox doesn't have NFL Network. Comcast is the only cable company that has it.
They just signed a multi year contract with NFL Network.

DirecTv is where it's at. Especially for those of us not near enough to Washington to see any games except night games on Sunday, Monday, and the occasional Thursday. So I'm all set with my Sunday ticket in hand.
And of course it has NFL network as well, although that comes with the Sunday ticket now anyway.
