Did you witness the whole soap opera this year?

Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

My motivation to watch 16 Skins games throughout the whole season was:

Right there with you, man.
Same here. ....

Same here .. you can't just give up on this ...
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

It sucked RIC. I picked lifelong habit because I have never rooted for another team unless it was a benefit for the Skins. I did come to the conclusion that this is just a silly game and to not get emotionally involved any longer. It is too draining. I wish things would be better but for now and probably forever I will look at it as something out of my control and not get wrapped up into it. That doesn't mean I wont root for them. Just means I wont feel beat any longer.

I see the light now.

Yeah, I also picked lifelong habit, though I could have just as easily gone with loyalty. Over the last five to 10 years, my emotional involvement has subsided considerably, though. I'm not sure if it's my aging, or that I'm just protecting myself from what has become a consistent downward spiral as each season progresses. I used to be devastated by losses, and they would stick with me all week, but now I'm over it by Monday morning. I will always watch and root for the team, and love it when they win, but I doubt that losses will crush me like they used to ever again.
